One of the most common questions we get: "I ordered a shade and it looked completely different on me than in the photos." Lip color is personal — your natural lip depth, undertone, and the finish you love all play a role. This guide maps all of that to our six shades so you can shop with confidence.
Step 1 — Know Your Natural Lip Depth
Before anything else, look at your bare lips in natural light. Are they closer to a pale nude, a medium rosy-pink, or a deep berry-brown? This single factor has the biggest impact on how a gloss reads on you.

Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist in natural light.
- Blue/Purple veins → Cool undertone — You'll love shades with blue-pink or plum tones: Aileen and Colibrí.
- Green veins → Warm undertone — You'll love shades with gold, peach, or berry warmth: Oro, Corazón, and Guadalupe.

Layering Tips
- Deeper lips + sheer shades: Apply a nude or matching lip liner first to give sheer glosses (Oro, Aileen, Colibrí, Corazón) something to grip onto — the color will pop much more.
- More intensity from any shade: Apply a second coat. All six glosses are buildable.
